PORTLAND - The latest push against distracted drivers includes a "designated texter" -- someone who texts for you.
A recent public service announcement shows how distracted driving can lead to an accident in the blink of an eye. The passenger can send and reply to all messages for the driver.
A traffic safety and Mothers Against Drunk Driving representative said "it is better if we all "disconnected" our electronic media in the car and just enjoyed each other's company."
