PORTLAND – Police arrested a suspect who tied up and robbed a pregnant jewelry store owner at knifepoint last month after he committed a second robbery Wednesday, police said.
Eric Eno, 31, was arrested Wednesday evening after he allegedly robbed the Wigland wig store at Northeast 10th Avenue and Northeast Broadway Street, said Sgt. Pete Simpson with Portland police.
Just before 6:30 a.m., Eno tied up an employee in the back room of the wig store. The employee got free and hit Eno with a golf club, driving him out of the store towards the Lloyd Center Mall, Simpson said.
Gang Enforcement officers, who were in the area, quickly responded and arrested Eno at the Lloyd Center Stanford’s restaurant.
Eno was also charged with robbing the Little Things jewelry store at 1720 NW Lovejoy St. on April 22.
