PORTLAND -- Police called in homicide detectives after a dead woman was found in a Southeast Portland home Tuesday evening.
The body of 33-year-old Dixiang Huang was found in a duplex in the 3000 block of Southeast 92nd Avenue, near Powell Boulevard, said Portland Police Bureau Sgt. Pete Simpson.
Overnight, police set up a Mobile Command Center at the scene. investigators announced just after 11:30 a.m. that Huang was the victim of homicidal violence.
The investigation was ongoing and detectives did not believe there was any danger to nearby residents, Simpson said.
