PORTLAND -- Heavy fog is likely during the Friday morning commute in the Portland Metro area, according to KGW Chief Meteorologist Matt Zaffino.
The low-lying fog will slowly clear out through the afternoon and temperatures were expected to reach the mid-60s. , but it's a slow process. The fog was very thick this morning and will eventually move out over the next couple of hours for a partly to mostly sunny afternoon. Temps will warm into the upper-50s and lower-60s.
Friday night could be the coldest evening of the season so far, with some spots dipping down to around freezing.
