PORTLAND – Three people were arrested after a drive-by shooting in Northeast Portland Wednesday night.
Investigators said no one was hit as shots were fired between two vehicles near the Safeway on NE 71st and Fremont. A witness following the suspect vehicle called 9-1-1 and officers soon did a high-risk traffic stop at Northeast 92nd Avenue, just South of Russell Street.
Gang Enforcement Team detectives determined that 17-year-old Devonte Dishay Kerney fired at occupants of another vehicle. Also arrested were a 17-year-old female and 35-year-old Kristin Kali Stoneberg. Kerney was charged with attempted murder, attempted assault and weapons’ violations.
Stoneberg and the 17-year-old female was arrested and charged with hindering prosecution and tampering with evidence.
