SALEM, Ore. (AP) -- Police say a man was accidentally shot in the abdomen Sunday when he came across a loaded gun while cleaning out a garage, going through belongings of his late father-in-law.
Police say the gun was in a box, and the man may not have recognized what it was. The 58-year-old man was taken to Salem Hospital.
Police expect he'll recover.
