PORTLAND -- A man accused of attacking two woman in the Portland Metro area last summer was sentenced to prison Wednesday.
Kenneth Couch, 24, pleaded guilty to charges connected to both attacks. He was sentenced Wednesday to 12-and-a-half years in prison.
Couch raped a woman in Gresham last June. A month later, he was accused of robbing and attacking another woman while she was hiking at Hoyt Arboretum. That woman screamed and was able to get away from him.

"Mr. Couch, you hurt and violated people in our community, specifically women," victim Michelle Dickson said to him in court Wednesday. "I don't think you can be free until we can be certain you will not behave this way again."
Dickson added she hoped that Couch could reflect on what he did and someday rejoin society as a better man.
