GRESHAM, Ore. – A Gresham man was arrested early Tuesday morning for three armed robberies at Gresham-area businesses.
On July 13, 24-year-old Cory Robert Reed robbed the Starbucks on 2233 NE Burnside Rd. at gunpoint, according to Det. John Rasmussen of the Gresham police.
The next day, Reed allegedly robbed the Orient Espresso coffee stand at 3250 SE 11th St.
Reed then robbed Sidekicks Delicatessen at 1489 SE Hogan Rd. on July 17, said Rasmussen. He collected less than $500 from the three robberies.
Officers and detectives arrested Reed near his father’s home in the 3300 block of Southeast First Street in Gresham.
The suspect’s father, Robert Marion Reed, 52, was also arrested for an unrelated warrant. Both men were taken to the Multnomah County jail.
Anyone with information about the robberies was asked to contact Gresham police.
