PORTLAND, Ore. -- Northwest fans of Green Day will have to wait to get to see the band perform.
In the wake of singer Billie Armstrong’s stint in rehab, the band announced it was canceling the rest of its 2012 tour, and would also delay performances previously scheduled for January and February.
Three northwest appearances are among the canceled performances. The band has canceled a November 29 performance at the Salem Armory Auditorium, and two Washington performances planned for November 26 in Seattle and November 27 in Kennewick.
Refunds will be issued for all missed concerts.
Instead, fans will have to get their fix of the band with the third album of their series, "Tre," the whose release was moved up to Dec. 11 up from Jan. 15.
