OREGON CITY , Ore. -- An Oregon City couple convicted of criminally negligent homicide in the faith-healing death of their 16-year-old son face up to a year-and-a-half in prison at sentencing scheduled for Monday.
Jeff and Marci Beagley are members of the Followers of Christ Church, which shuns doctors in favor of prayer.
Their son, Neil, died of urinary tract blockage that led to kidney and heart failure.
