ESTACADA, Ore. -- An Estacada man took on an angry bull that was attacking his neighbor Friday.
Bob Sullivan came running when heard his neighbor screaming for help. He found the bull had pinned the neighbor to the ground and was pounding him with his head.
Sullivan used his cane to push the bull away but the angry animal then turned on him.
"The other guy got up and when the bull attacked me and had me down on the ground he started beating him with my cane and I was able to get away,” Sullivan said.
His neighbor was taken by life flight helicopter to the hospital because crews were worried about internal bleeding.
Sullivan escaped with just a few scratches, and neighbors helped get the bull back behind a fence.
