TIGARD, Ore. – Four people were injured in a crash in Tigard early Wednesday morning that police said was caused by a drunk driver.

The crash occurred on the Pacific Highway overpass, just north of Johnson Street in Tigard, shortly after midnight.

Police said three vehicles were involved in the crash and four people were transported by ambulance to Oregon Health and Science University with serious injuries.

Investigators believe Sead Alivodic, 48, of Tigard, was driving drunk when he veered into the oncoming lanes and struck a pickup truck.

The impact sent the pickup into a spin and a rollover, coming to rest on its side. The driver of the pickup, Kpetike-Kokouda Ketevi, 36, of Portland, sustained serious injuries, according to Jim Wolf with the Tigard Police Department.

A northbound Nissan SUV driven by Aaron Guzik, 27, of Portland, got caught in the crash as well, Wolf said. Both Guzik and a passenger were transported to OHSU with less serious injuries.

Alivodic was charged with assault 3, two counts of assault 4, reckless driving, criminal mischief and DUII. Wolf said Alivodic's blood alcohol level was nearly three times the limit allowed by Oregon law.

Alivodic was also hospitalized following the crash.
