PORTLAND –Portland police pulled over convicted felon Andrew Nellis and found drugs and a gun, but they also found some photos on his phone that led to a storage locker of stolen goods.
In the locker police found counterfeit checks, business checks, horse blankets, power tools, golf clubs and a host of other stolen valuables.
Investigators are now researching the items and trying to get them back where they belong.
Authorities suggest labeling high value items in a creative manner that criminals won’t find but investigators might.
