TIDEWATER, Ore. – A suspected drunk driver has been indicted on several charges related to the June 26 crash that seriously injured a young girl and her grandparents.
David Juenke, 59, was driving his pickup truck along Highway 34, ease of Tidewater, when it veered into the oncoming lane and crashed nearly head-on into a westbound Toyota Camry.
James Szabo was driving the car with his wife, Jane and granddaughter inside. James, 63, and Jane, 62, were seriously injured, along with 9-year-old Katelyn Carlson.
A Lincoln County grand jury recently indicted Juenke on several charges, including DUII, reckless driving, assault, reckless endangering and driving with a suspended license.
He was arrested and booked into the Lincoln County Jail.
