OREGON CITY, Ore. – A family dog died in an intentionally set Oregon City house fire early Saturday morning, investigators said.
Firefighters from seven different stations arrived at the fire at 20134 S. Hwy 213 just after midnight.
All three people who lived in the house were able to escape before rescuers arrived, although one had a minor injury and was taken to an area hospital.
The family dog died in the fire, officials said. The fire caused $80,000 in damage.
There were no working smoke alarms in the house, officials said.
Investigators called the fire “intentionally set.” Oregon State Police and Clackamas Fire was investigating the incident.
