HEPPNER, Ore. -- A reserve deputy was arrested Friday for the murder of a Heppner woman found dead Monday.
Steven Montie Crum, age 29, of the Morrow County Sheriff's Office, was taken into custody after a traffic stop Friday morning in Harney County.
Jessica Rae Killian, of Heppner, was found Monday on a farm near Ione.
Police had previously warned the public that Crum was at large and could be armed. He was arrested without incident.
