ALOHA, Ore. -- The Washington County Sheriff's Office said a man who allegedly cut his estranged girlfriend's neck with a knife Thursday is now in custody.
According to investigators, 46-year-old Jose Ponce-Guitron broke into his estranged girlfriend's apartment in Aloha and attacked her.

She went to the hospital with a deep cut to her neck that was non-life-threatening, authorities said.
Ponce-Guitron was picked up during a traffic stop and will face attempted murder charges.
