The Dalles, Ore. -- A man was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead around 10 p.m. Friday night. Authorities were investigating the death as a homicide, Police said.
Officers responded to a call on the 100 block of West 1st Avenue where they found the victim, said Jay Waterbury, Chief of The Dalles Police Department.
The name of the victim was not released pending notification of the next of kin.
