PORTLAND – Kids who want to learn how to play basketball from the NBA's man of the hour Damian Lillard will get a chance through a new summer camp at the Multnomah Athletic Club.

Just three days after he made what some of have called the most important shot in Blazer’s history, Lillard announced he was opening a new summer basketball camp.

The Damian Lillard Basketball Camp will run July 8-11 at the Multnomah Athletic Club. The camp is for boys and girls ages 6 to 16 and teaches team participation and personal development. The camp will feature guest speakers, a low coach-to-camper ratio, several games per day and daily contests.

Lillard will be in attendance helping kids hone their fundamentals, according to a media statement.

The four-day camp costs $325 and kids get a jersey, NBA prize pack and autographed photo of Lillard.
