SALEM -- Gov. John Kitzhaber says Oregonians will have an extra month to sign up for subsidized health insurance.

Kitzhaber said Wednesday the deadline to apply for coverage is now April 30. His announcement comes a day after the Obama administration said it would allow people additional time to sign up in certain circumstances, including technology problems.
