CORVALLIS, Ore. – A Corvallis woman tried to hire two people on Craigslist to kidnap her estranged husband, according to police.
Mari Teresa Veronica, who also goes by “Tes,” tried to solicit help from two people on two different occasions through Craigslist, asking them to break into her estranged husband’s South Corvallis home, burglarize it and then kidnap him, according to Lt. Cord Wood, Corvallis Police Department.
One of the people she solicited contacted police and then officers also tracked down the second person while investigating Price, Wood said.
Price was arrested and lodged in the Benton County Correctional Facility on $250,000 bail.
She will face several charges, including soliciting a burglary, soliciting a kidnapping, soliciting an assault and soliciting menacing.
