MILWAUKIE, Ore. – Two men were cited after they allegedly stole a bear statue from a bar in Milwaukie and posted the pictures on Facebook.

Early Friday morning, 25-year-old Corey Harris and 26-year-old Trevor Modar took the chainsaw sculpture bear from the Wichita Pub as a joke, said Officer Ulli Neitch with the Milwaukie Police Department.

Police reviewed surveillance video and images on Facebook to determine who had the bear. Police then tracked down the men to get the bear back, Neitch said.

Both men were issued citations for theft 2. Officer Jeff Rogerson returned the bear to the Wichita Pub.
