PORTLAND - A thief posing as a parent has been stealing computers from Portland area schools.

Investigators said he poses as a parent or prospective parent then steals electronics out of classrooms.

So far, he's hit Winterhaven School, Llewellyn School and Sunnyside School in Portland, and St. John's School in Milwaukie. He was also caught on video inside St Claire's School in Portland, but nothing was reported stolen.

The man is described as white, in his mid-20s to early 30s, approximately 5-foot-10, and weighing 160 pounds.
