Columbia River gas pipeline on hold

PORTLAND – The push to build a natural gas pipeline along the Columbia River was put on hold.

Palomar Gas Transmission put its permit on an indefinite delay Tuesday afternoon.

Environmental impact findings and completing pipeline proposals were all believed to be factors.

Back in May, environmentalists claimed victory when Bradwood LNG, one of the natural gas terminals, declared bankruptcy.
