MILWAUKIE, Ore. -- A Milwaukie woman's festive Christmas Ferris wheel was swiped from her front yard, and she wants it back.

Heidi Mitchell said she decks out her yard each year with a 10-foot Frosty the Snowman, an inflatable Santa and the six-foot motorized Ferris wheel with holiday characters on board.

Thieves pulled up the stakes that hold down the Ferris wheel and took off with it

"It was one of the biggest attractions in the neighborhood," Mitchell told KGW. "People would bring their kids by to look at the Ferris wheel because it was something different; it wasn't something you could buy at the store."

She said she's been checking Craigslist, but so far hasn't found anybody trying to sell it.
