ASHLAND, Ore. (AP) -- Police arrested an Ashland man accused of having several videos and more than 200 images depicting child pornography.
The Ashland Daily Tidings reports that 29-year-old Torin Eggers was arrested at a relative's home Thursday evening -- a day after a grand jury indicted him on 14 counts of encouraging child sex abuse.
Jail records show Eggers was lodged in Jackson County Jail and his bail set at $500,000.
The newspaper reports that the investigation was triggered by a tip from someone in the community and a search warrant was executed in late August.
