CANBY, Ore. – Two people were taken to the hospital Monday after a car slammed into two vehicles and a house.
Police said a Kia SUV with two people inside hit a minivan and a Toyota Prius then slammed into the front porch of the home on SE Township.
A mother and her young daughter in the Prius were taken to Meridian Park Hospital with minor injuries.
A mother and her three children ages one, six, and eight, were at home when the car struck. No one in the house was hurt.
Police said they described the event as "a loud bump and a thud...the entire house shook.”
No one inside was hurt. Crews were called in to stabilize the damaged home’s porch.
