VANCOUVER – It was a very close call in Vancouver after a car slammed into a store. It happened at the Fiddlesticks quilt shop on Northeast 114th Avenue.
The store owner had just moved away from her desk this afternoon when the car crashed close to where she had been sitting.
“I was standing right here and glass peppered my back. Luckily, I was facing this way. Glass shot all over the back of myself and the surrounding area,” said store owner Cheran Bee.
There was plenty of broken glass and some damage to the building but nobody was hurt. Authorities have not said what caused the driver to lose control.
