PORTLAND -- The driver of a car that hit a cyclist in Southwest Portland, then went on through a fence and hit a house, has been identified as Candice Palmer, 63.

Portland police said the cyclist, Reese Wilson, 20, suffered life-threatening injuries. Wilson was in serious condition Sunday.

Palmer has been cooperating with the investigation since she struck Wilson, police said. Alcohol was not a factor, police said.

The crash was in the 6000 block of SW Multnomah Boulevard just after 2 p.m. Friday.

Meanwhile, the sheriff's office is asking that anyone with any information about the incident call them at 503-261-2810.
