Candidates for governor agree to KGW debate

PORTLAND, Ore. -- The Democratic and Republican candidates for governor of Oregon have agreed to a debate at the KGW studios.
John Kitzhaber and Chris Dudley agreed to the debate sponsored by KGW NewsChannel 8 and The Oregonian newspaper.
The debate is scheduled for September 30 at 7 p.m. It is the only debate so far that both candidates have accepted.
