CAMAS, Wash. - A firefighter escaped injury after catching on fire while battling a blaze at a townhouse on Thursday.
Fire officials said the person who lives at the townhouse on Southeast Weir Street described using a lighter to look for something under a bed, because he did not have a flashlight.
The fire started around 9:30 a.m.
One firefighter escaped injury when an unknown object fell from a window and exploded, catching his clothing on fire.
He was uninjured thanks to his protective gear, firefighters said,.
No one else was hurt and the exact cause was under investigation.
