HILLSBORO, Ore. -- A Hillsboro man fired two warning shots after his daughter's boyfriend entered the house and set off an alarm, police said.
The homeowner's 15-year-old daughter reportedly invited her boyfriend in just after 11 a.m. Friday, said Lt. Michael Rouches of the Hillsboro Police Department. The 17-year-old set off an alarm as he entered.
That's when 50-year-old Ebraimi Jamshid "fired two rounds from his .357 revolver into the air as he yelled for the boyfriend to leave the house," Rouches said.
The boyfriend then left through a window and the girl ran to a neighbor's house to call 911.
Jamshid was jailed for unlawful use of a weapon, reckless endangering and menacing.
