GRESHAM – Crews in Gresham spent their night dealing with a semi-truck that slammed through a freeway barrier wall on Interstate-84.
The crash happened just before 9 p.m. Friday night. Investigators said a car was trying to get on I-84 west bound from the 181st Avenue on-ramp.
Instead of using the merge lane, the car darted into the main traffic, crashing into another car and causing the big-rig to slam into the freeway wall, and get stuck on the hill.
It took crews until about 5 a.m. Saturday morning to pull the truck up. They had to empty all of its fuel as part of that process. No one was hurt.
