HILLSBORO, Ore. -- A bicyclist was struck by a pickup truck and seriously injured early Thursday evening, police said.
The accident happened near 452 SW Oak Street and the pickup driver remained at the scene, according to Storm Smith, a spokesman with the Hillsboro Fire Department.
The injured bicyclist was a woman and suffered life-threatening injuries, Smith said.
She was transported to a local hospital in a LifeFlight helicopter.
Her name had not been released.
