PORTLAND, ore. -- The FBI was called to Providence Hospital Portland after a bank robbery chase ended with a crash and a suspect taken into custody.
Police said the Key Bank in downtown Portland was robbed around 1:45 p.m., followed by a police chase that ended at Providence.
A short time later, Portland police spotted the man and vehicle matching the description at 47th and E Burnside.
A silver Honda crashed into a shuttle bus in the turnaround. An emergency room window was also broken. There was no word of any injuries.
Police said he jumped out of the car and ran to the emergency room. Two Portland police officers and two citizen caught him at 44th and NE Irving.
Arrested was 28-year-old Nathan Brent on a parole violation.
