Last time we'll ask: Is summer really here?

PORTLAND -- High temperatures in the Portland area will peak in the upper 80s Sunday, before dropping back down into the 70s with light showers, forecasters said.

"Sunshine rules as highs will make it to the upper-80s in the valleys and 70s at the Coast before cooler air moves in later in Sunday and the Coast clouds up," KGW Meterologist Jim Donavan said. "Cooler, cloudier weather will re-invade the valleys Monday with a few scattered showers, or some drizzle, possible Monday and Tuesday. "
