CHIMACUM, Wash. (AP) — The Washington State Patrol says an eagle that was hit by a car on Highway 104 in Jefferson County is recovering with a broken wing at the Chimacum Valley Veterinary Hospital.
The eagle was injured Wednesday, and it may take up to four months to learn if the bird can fly well enough to return to the wild.
