TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) — University of Arizona police are asking for the public's help as they investigate a bottle throwing incident that seriously injured a University of Oregon cheerleader last Saturday night.

Fans stormed the field near the end of Oregon's 44-to-41 double overtime victory over the UA.

Police say several bottles were thrown onto the field when Oregon cheerleader KateLynn Johnson was hit in the head by a full bottle of water.

Johnson was standing on the southwest side of the stadium when a full bottle of water hit her on the head and knocked her down.

She was hospitalized overnight and treated for a concussion.

UA police Sergeant Juan Alvarez said they want anyone who witnessed the incident or if they have video to come forward.
