5.3 Magnitude quake off Oregon Coast

WINCHESTER BAY, Ore. -- A magnitude 5.3 earthquake was recorded off the Oregon Coast around 7 a.m. Wednesday morning.
The quake was located offshore, 81 miles west of Winchester Bay along the coast at an estimated depth of 6 miles.
The West Coast and Alaska Tsunami Warning Center reports the quake was not big enough to generate a tsunami.
