Eugene shoppers line up for new Nordstrom Rack

EUGENE, Ore. (AP) — People started lining up a 3 a.m., and by 9 a.m. Thursday there were more than 500 shoppers eager for the new Nordstrom Rack store to open its doors at the Oakway Center in Eugene.

One shopper told The Register-Guard (http://bit.ly/17tMjcP) it will save her driving to Portland for discounts on Nordstrom products.

Nordstrom hired 50 people for the new store in Eugene.
