Transient suspected of Medford school theft

MEDFORD, Ore. (AP) — A transient is a suspect in the theft of 23 laptops and a microscope over the weekend from Logos Charter School in Medford.

Police say the 58-year-old man has been selling laptops or trading them for drugs.

The Mail Tribune reports (http://bit.ly/1cnYUV3) the man was arrested Monday on a charge of possession of methamphetamine.

Police have recovered seven of the computers.
