OREGON CITY, Ore. -- Hundreds of hungry pets will now be well-fed, thanks to a huge community donation.

Friday morning, the Fido Dog Bank in Oregon City received 20,000 pounds of Royal Canin cat and dog food.

Employees from the Banfield Pet Hospital helped unload the food and Fido Ani-Meals will deliver it to the pets of seniors who receive home-delivered meals.

The donation was a joint effort by Royal Canin, Banfield Pet Hospital and Banfield Charitable Trust.
