ST. HELENS, Ore. – A 2-year-old boy suffered non-life-threatening injuries after he fell from a window in St. Helens on Thursday.
A neighbor saw the boy fall about 16 feet and immediately provided aid, according to Columbia River Fire & Rescue. The fall happened at around 5:45 p.m.
When first responders arrived, the boy was conscious, alert and in his father’s arms. He was taken to a hospital for treatment to his injuries.
As warmer weather arrives, Columbia River Fire & Rescue wants to remind parents to be aware of the dangers associated with open windows.
