ALBANY, Ore. -- An Albany, Ore., Fire Department spokeswoman says two small alligators, a snapping turtle and a cat all survived a garage fire. Spokeswoman Wanda Omdahl says the alligators and turtle were housed in the garage and were rescued Friday night and moved to a safe spot. A cat named Dottie also escaped the fire. No people were injured. Damage to the building and contents was estimated at $30,000.
