TUALATIN, Ore. -- A two-alarm fire at a Tualatin apartment building impacted ten units, displacing 22 tenants and 2 dogs Sunday afternoon.

Crews were called just after 1:30 p.m. to the report of a fire in the Rolling Hills Apartment Complex, at 19355 SW 65th Avenue, according to a spokesperson for Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue.

Witnesses said two people jumped from the second story to escape the fire. Neither was injured in the fall, but both were treated for smoke inhalation.

An estimated 40 firefighters from Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue and the Lake Oswego Fire Dept. battled the blaze.

The American Red Cross was on scene to assist the displaced residents.
