SPRINGFIELD, Ore. (AP) — A 76-year-old Springfield man who had been missing since Friday has been found. A Lane County sheriff's search team found the man lying in a roadside ditch on Monday afternoon. He was suffering from moderate hypothermia.
The Register Guard reports Leslie McAdams was found a few hours after his wife was found by a Weyerhaeuser employee in the same general area.
The couple's pickup truck was also found in the area.
Leslie and Juanita McAdams were taken by ambulances to Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend in Springfield for treatment.
The couple appeared to be disoriented and could not immediately explain why they had driven to the area.
