EUGENE, Ore. (AP) — Police are looking for a cargo trailer holding 40 bikes that was taken sometime over the weekend from a school parking lot in Eugene.
The bikes are owned by the school district and are used to teach riding safety.
A manager for the school district, Shane MacRhodes, told The Register-Guard (http://is.gd/0qeJtH ) the thieves were likely after the new trailer and didn't know the bikes were inside.
The trailer and bikes, manufactured by Bike Friday of Eugene, are worth about $38,000.
