BEND, Ore. (AP) — Police arrested a man after a gunshot was fired near a Bend cemetery.
The Bulletin newspaper reports (http://is.gd/lEQLdQ ) that a cemetery worker told authorities that a round passed over his head Monday evening and he heard a man north of the graveyard yelling something he couldn't understand.
Officers determined the shot was fired from a nearby home.
The Deschutes County Sheriff's Office says 60-year-old Gregory Phipps was arrested on suspicion of unlawful use of a weapon, reckless endangering, disorderly conduct and hunting during prohibited hours.
Cynthia Renee Rogerson was cited on suspicion of aiding in a game violation.
