HARRISBURG, Ore. (AP) — Linn County authorities say two people were hurt when a monster truck went into the stands at an event in Harrisburg.

The sheriff's office told the Albany Democrat-Herald that the injured were taken to a Eugene hospital. The extent of their injuries has not been released.

Emergency crews responded to the Harrisburg MotorSports Complex about 30 minutes after "Monster Air 2012" began Saturday afternoon.

Event organizers and officials could not be reached for comment, and phone calls to the Harrisburg Fire Department went to an answering machine.
