SALEM, Ore. (AP) — A woman who tried to hide from Salem police was tracked down by a police dog, bitten and arrested.

Police say the woman was stopped for riding a bike without a light about 2 a.m. Thursday. She gave a false name and left while the officer dealt with a second bike rider.

The Statesman Journal reports (http://is.gd/FtyTUo ) police learned there was an arrest warrant for the woman on a charge of delivering methamphetamine. A police dog found her hiding in some bushes. When she didn't come out, the dog went in.

She was treated for a bite at Salem Hospital and booked into the Marion County Jail.
